Important
Ordering Information
Follow these steps to ensure expedited processing of
your order.
1. Complete, Clear Orders: Clearly detail the item
number and color, description of each item, quantity,
price, imprint method, location of imprint, shipping
method, ship to address and in hands date.
2. Artwork: Include with your order artwork or previous
purchase order number. See Artwork Specifications for
requirements.
3. Acknowledgement: Upon receiving your order, the
factory will send you a confirmation for your records.
Make the effort to check the acknowledgement
completely.
4. Proofs: Upon receipt of a complete order and
artwork, a complimentary paper proof will be faxed
for your approval. Product proofs are produced upon
request only. The cost for product proof is product
price and die development. The approval of all
product proofs is requested within 2 days of receipt
of product proof. Please make sure the artwork is
what you want. The signed approval confirms the
accuracy of the artwork and assures that your order
will be produced the way you requested.
MeadWestvaco is not liable for customer-approved
errors, mistakes or misspellings. Standard production
time applies for pre-production sample orders and
stock production orders.
5. Changes to approved proofs: If changes are made
to paper proofs or product proofs after approval is
received and production is in process, additional costs
and delay in
production time will be incurred.

General
Information
Artwork Specifications
In order to ensure accurate, high quality and prompt
production of your order, specific art requirements
are needed. Electronic art is the preferred method to
ensure quality production.
1. Electronic Artwork: we accept Electronic Art via:
Disk/CD/Zip/MAC and PC or E-mail art to:
ppg_images@meadwestvaco.com in the following
formats:
a. Adobe Illustrator (.eps) (Preferred format) with text
converted to outlines and/or include all fonts
b. Adobe Photoshop (.psd) with art to size at 300dpi
at 100%
c. Quark Express (.qxd) and include all files that have
been placed as well as all fonts
d. Compression Software: WinZip, Stuff it, Drop Stuff
(self extracting)
2. Camera Ready Artwork: Clean crisp black and white
artwork to size. Please specify size.
3. Additional Information: Emails received without
identification will result in delay in production. Please
ensure all artwork includes the format used, a distributor
name, PO#, contact name and your email address. If no
location or sizing information is provided, customer
will be contacted, possibly delaying production.
4.Camera Ready Artwork is NOT faxes, photocopies,
newspaper art, letterhead, hand drawings, business cards,
napkins, etc., that does not meet specifications above.
Non-Camera Ready Artwork will incur additional art charges.
Art Charges:
1. Paper Proofs Free
2. Typeset Only $ 25.00 (X)
3. Typeset Copy added to camera-ready artwork $ 25.00

4. Preparation of non-camera ready art $ 60.00 (X)
Charges are per hour, 1/2 hour minimum.
Changes made after final artwork is approved will result
in additional charges.
Trademarks: All copy or other materials submitted by
customer for our use in producing items ordered will
be accepted as fully compliant with all applicable laws
regarding trademark service, service mark, copyright,
right of privacy, patent or similar protection.
MeadWestvaco, assumes no responsibility
for determining who holds title to trademark. All liabilities
of this nature rest with the customer.

Imprinting Options/Die
Development
New Die Development Charge:
$ 67.00 (G) per die, not to exceed 4” in any direction.
$ 95.00 (G) for any die over 4” in any direction.
New art may be required if the prior order is more than
two years old. Written requests for the return of dies
and artwork must be received within 1 year of use.

Standard Imprint Position
Front or back cover.
Alternatives to standard imprint position are:
· Inside Front Cover: $ .60

Alternative and Secondary imprints prices are based
on up to 3 lines straight-line copy or standard recommended
logo size. Please consult customer service representative
if alternative or secondary imprint is larger than this.
Each additional die requires a die development charge
of $ 65.00 (G) per logo.

Standard Imprinting
Each product material has it’s own recommended imprint
method. Blind debossing, clear foil, gold foil and silver
foil stamping are standard recommended imprinting
methods. Please consult your Customer Service
Representative for additional foil colors available.

Minimum Quantity
The Minimum Quantity for ordering is the first column
quantity on price list. Less than minimum quantity
charge is additional $ 32.00 (G) per order (Excluding
Blank Stock). Less Than Minimum option is not available
on all products.

Personalization
Most of the Castelli products can be personalized with
name or initials. The personalization charge is $ 3.00 (G)
per name and $ 2.00 (G) per monogram (up to 3
initials). Signature Deboss Personalization is $ 3.00 (G)
per name.
The requirements for personalization are:
· Typed list provided on disk
or via email in Word, Excel, or Text format
· Reference to purchase order
number with personalization list
· Specify font and size of personalization
· Personalization will not be
accepted or produced if not provided electronically.
· Upper and Lower case will be produced exactly as submitted.

Production Time
Die stamp on cover requires a standard production time
of 7-10 days from artwork approval and receipt of all
order components. Promotional tip in pages, optional
packaging, PVC pockets or any other customization other
than a die stamp on cover will require a standard
production time of 12-14 days from artwork approval and
receipt of all order components. We shall do everything
to meet agreed delivery dates but we will not be held
responsible nor accept any liability should the date not
be met.
Changes made after final approval is received will delay
delivery date. Orders requiring custom fabrication, large
quantity or overseas production, will require a longer
production time. Custom orders placed with the Italian
factory cannot be changed once the order has been
placed and acknowledged.
Over and Under-runs
While every effort is made to supply the exact quantity of printed
merchandise ordered, a 3-5% variance must be made for over and
under-runs. If an exact quantity is required please add a $25.00 (X)
Exact Order Surcharge. It is impossible to produce exact quantity
for custom orders.

Credit Approval and Terms
All orders are subject to credit approval. A signed credit
application is required to process credit terms. Orders
above credit limits may require pre-payment. Visa,
MasterCard, American Express and Discover, are accepted.
Upon approval, 30 days Net terms will be extended.

Shipping and Handling
A. All products are shipped F.O.B. Factory unless
otherwise noted.
B. All orders will be shipped prepaid, freight billed on
invoice.
C. Customer’s shipper number can be provided on all
orders as requested. All invalid shipping accounts will
be billed prepaid freight. All 3rd party reversed
freight charges will be billed back and are subject to
additional fees or penalties incurred MeadWestvaco.
D. Expedited shipping is used upon customer request.
Exact event dates need to be supplied to
MeadWestvaco to ensure timeliness.
E. Orders will be shipped to address indicated on
purchase order unless otherwise indicated or
confirmed changes received.
F. MeadWestvaco will perform drop shipments at an
additional charge of $ 5.00 (X) per location and the
addresses must be provided electronically.
G. We are able to act as the shipper only on drop
shipments outside the United States.
All documentation and special arrangements are the
responsibility of the distributor. Documentation must
include a Customs invoice identifying the importer,condition of sales, and value of goods. Instruction to
factory must include port of entry, name and phone
number of broker. No shipments will be attempted
without complete instructions and documentation.
